Palm Springs Transitional

This was a new build in Palm Springs. The clients liked the large ceilings and open concept for entertaining. They wanted a comfortable yet Modern look to go with the architecture. We went with a neutral pallet for the main pieces with pops of color on the pillows, rugs and chairs. the clients love color but also like to change things up every few years so we wanted it to be easy to just change pillows or rugs and keep the main pieces. Raspberry silk grass cloth was used as a focal point behind a beautiful TV credenza as a focal point for the TV room. Our clients were so pleased with the way it all turned out they constantly have friends and loved ones over for brunches and dinner parties.

Palm Springs – Modern

This was a beautiful yet dated mid Century modern home. the walls were dark green and gold with heavy dark furniture. The clients loved the location and size and a one level home that with convincing from me purchased the home. I got started immediately repainting the interior walls soft white to make the home look bigger. The clients love the modern look with touches of Hollywood Glam. WE did the main parts of the home in bright Orange and turquoise with the focus on the fireplace. Since the master bedroom was small I wanted to do a very bight bold soft aqua and silver wallpaper with the touches of mirrored furniture to give it sparkle and reflect the light from the French doors. For the guest room I found a very modern graphic wallpaper and matched the wall color to make it bold. with accents of brown and turquoise to tone it down. The clients were so thrilled with their new light and bright home and couldn’t believe it was the same home once it was finished. Now they can live the true Palm Springs lifestyle with cocktails by their new bar.

Dana Point – Coastal

This Beautiful Dana Point Home was staged by Interior Designer Michael Streit and his team from California Style Home Collections. The living room, dining room, kitchen, office and bedrooms were Staged and remodeled with designer furniture and fresh new accessories. This project was located in the Coastal area of Dana Point in South Orange County.

Newport Beach – Traditional

Clients requested a Traditional yet, Coastal look. I used blacks creams and blues to bring it all together.

Long Beach – Traditional

In this project we used creams, golds, rusts and browns to give the client a traditional yet modern updated look.

Palm Springs – Transitional

This was one of my most fun projects… This was my clients second home and they wanted a modern yet comfortable home. I started with a clean pallet as this was a newly built home in Palm Springs. I chose soft gray walls for a modern look and added blues and yellows for a dramatic feel. I created a large custom sectional sofa in the great room as that is where the family watches TV the most. It has a modern feeling but with transitional furnishings.

Newport Coast

This client had some existing traditional pieces which he wanted to keep. We mixed in some new furniture including sofa and chairs and updated the wall color to give it an updated look.

Signal Hill

Master bedroom clients had the “Glam” tufted bed. Which set the tone for this room. I used a dramatic striped wallpaper to make the bed appear larger, along with mirrored nightstands for the added glam look.

San Clemente

In this project the clients had a Tuscan style home which they wanted to update. I updated the look with many new pieces of furniture, artwork and accessories.  I used the clients living room sofas and dining table and updated them with new dining chairs and pillows on the sofa.  In the family room I did a sofa and love seat to open the room up but still making it functional for the family of 4.  In the master bedroom, I used the clients existing bed but had it stained in a darker finish.  I then did custom bedding to give the room a fresh look.

Long Beach Transitional Asian

This was one of my most fun and challenging jobs.  The clients home was very country with pine floors and roosters and chickens everywhere.  They are friends and mine and said they wanted to move as they hated there current home and could not see a new vision for it.  They had many fantastic Asian antiques in there garage and in spare room.  I gave them a complete update by putting in New flooring, moldings and repainting the entire inside of the home.  I used there Asian antiques to set the tone of the home and showcase the pieces.  They were so thrilled with the end result that they no longer wanted to move and entertain all the time.  I recycled there old french antique dining table by having it stained espresso with new fabric on the chairs and moving it to their kitchen.
